However, these days, spa therapy comprises of a broad range of treatment or therapy such as hot tub, mud bath, sauna, massages and also nail, facial and water therapies. There are some spa facilities which provide only nail or facial treatment and then there are spa therapy places which comprise of body massage, nail treatment, facial therapy and foot massage without any involvement of aqua therapy or water. Facial Therapy

This is one of the most popular items of spa therapy and the second most sought after massage therapy. A facial, when done by a professional, helps in nourishing, moisturizing and toning your skin. It also cleans, exfoliates and gives you a clear, well-hydrated and supple skin. It is recommended to have a facial as part of your regular skin care regime. Manicure is nail spa therapy for the hands and fingernails and is generally done at a nail salon. A manicure relaxes your hands and keeps your skin of the hands soft and your nails trimmed and in shape.

Pedicure is spa therapy for toenails and feet and is very popular among women all over the world, especially working women. Getting manicures and pedicures helps in keeping your nails, hands, toe nails and feet neat, tidy and in shape. Manis and pedis, as they are popularly known, give you a well groomed appearance.
