Flat foot is an anatomical deformity, which is often corrected with conservative treatment. Conservative treatment includes correction of arch of the foot by properly design shoes and foot wares. The arch of the sole of shoe is shaped to match arch of foot of individual patient. The continuous use of corrected sole from very young age can eventually correct the arch. Anatomical structures of foot in child are maturing until age 18 to 21 years and during the growth of the skeletal system often arch is partially corrected. There are several athletes who have succeeded in sports. Individual with flat foot can excel in sport like baseball, swimming, wrestling and table tennis.
