    Keratolytic Winter Erythema also often termed as Oudtshoorn disease, Oudtshoorn skin, and Erythrokeratolysis Hiemalis is a rare form of autosomal dominant skin disease. It is identified as a cyclical disruption of epidermal keratinisation, which predominantly affects the palmoplantar skin, causing patches of thickened skin, redness and peeling of the skin on the soles and palms.
