You can also use some home remedies to heal plantar fasciitis. The first thing that you need to do for healing plantar fasciitis is maintaining your body weight. Secondly, it is very essential to avoid heels and prefer low or moderate heel while purchasing shoes. In addition, you should use swimming and bicycling instead of walking or jogging as a mode of exercise. If you feel sharp pains, then you can hold a cloth with an ice pack and apply on the affected area for at least 15 to 20 minute. If the problem is severe then repeat the process for three-four times a day. Regular massage with the ice pack will help the patient to reduce the inflammation.
