There are several simple ways to drink more fluids every day. Add flavor to your pitcher. Maintain an app to trace your cups and follow a few other practices.

Make Your Favorite Snacks Healthy- Make a healthy substitution to your unhealthy snacks by preparing desserts with fat-free milk, use whole wheat pasta that is rich in fiber instead of enriched pasta which contains more than 150 calories.

Remove Calorie-Rich Temptations- When you want to cut down your calorie levels, scale back on meat, poultry or fish and increase the number of vegetables to gain more vitamins and minerals. Similarly, if your recipe requires 1 cup of cheddar cheese limit the quantity into half.3

However, a shocking study states that another element is partially to blame are parents.

Are Parents To Blame For Childhood Obesity?

A recent Sermon poll observed that the mainstream of practitioners (69%) believe that parents are predominantly or entirely to hold responsible for childhood obesity.

Every day, more than 2 million California young children (60 percent) drink beverage and 1.5 million (45 percent) consume fast food, but only 40 percent consume five or more servings of fruits and vegetables, say the scientists at UCLA Facility for Health Strategy Study.4,5

The underlying problem of childhood obesity is that parents aren’t paying adequate attention to what they feed their children. People aren’t consuming sufficient home-cooked foods and parents aren’t providing nutritious food and drink.
