Apple Cider Vinegar

What you need

  • Apple cider vinegar- 1 tbsp
  • Water- 1 tbsp
  • Cotton balls

How to do

  • Mix apple cider vinegar and water in a bowl
  • Soak a cotton ball in it
  • Apply on the affected area
  • Leave for about half an hour and wash off thereafter

Tea Tree Oil

  • Tea -tree essential oil has antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties

  • Mix tea tree oil and coconut oil

Castor oil- ½ tsp

Lemon Juice

  • Take some honey and apply it evenly on to the affected area

Rose Water And Sandalwood Powder

  • Rose water and sandalwood powder when used together are excellent in removing dead skin cells and it is a good natural remedies for milia
  • This helps in rejuvenation of the skin and prevents dead skin cells from trapping inside the pores

What you need

  • Sandalwood powder- 1 tbsp
  • Rosewater – as needed

How to do

  • Add enough rosewater to 1 tbsp of sandalwood powder to make a thick paste
  • Apply this paste evenly to the affected area
  • Let it sit for about 20-30 minutes and then wash it off and pat dry

Steaming

  • Steaming can help you open the clogged pores and remove all the trapped debris inside the pores
  • This helps in getting rid of milia easier

What you need

Hot water and towel

How to do

  • Fill a tub of hot water and bend over this tub with your head covered with a clean towel
  • Let the steam work on your face for 5 -10 minutes

Milia does not need to be treated. It goes away on its own within a few weeks or months at the most. However, if you wish to get rid of it, these natural remedies can prove to be extremely beneficial and will not cause any harmful side-effects.
