Usually, most of the patients with paraneoplastic syndromes (PNS) do not need any additional treatment to cure for paraneoplastic syndrome alone because if the malignancy treatment is effective then with the disappearance of the malignant cells the paraneoplastic syndrome will also go away and the paraneoplastic syndrome symptoms would also disappear. Acupuncture was selected because the patient did not respond to conventional and pharmacological methods. Initially, before the acupuncture treatment, the patients gave a score of 9/10 regarding the severity of night sweating and after the acupuncture course, the patient gave a score of 1/10 for the severity of night sweating. Therefore, acupuncture can be an effective treatment method night sweating associated with paraneoplastic syndrome. Acupuncture might also be effective in treating neurologic paraneoplastic syndrome especially the muscle weaknesses. (2)

the paraneoplastic syndrome usually does not need treatment as it goes away with cancer the cancer treatment but so paraneoplastic syndrome symptoms need specific treatment.
