The latter is responsible to effectively prevent testosterone from converting into dihydrotestosterone (DHT). The main combination included in jalyn, tamsulosin comes under the category of alpha-adrenergic blockers. If you have any of these following conditions inform your doctor so your doctor can ensure this medicine jalyn is safe for you

  • Liver disease
  • Low blood pressure
  • Allergic to finasteride (proscar, Propecia) or sulfa drugs
  • Sever kidney disease
  • High blood pressure (Hypertension)
  • Prostate cancer

As mentioned above, jalyn can increase your chances of developing prostate cancer therefore your doctor will perform a wide range of tests to make sure the medicine is safe for you.

  • Painful penis erection or that lasts for longer than 4 hours
  • Feeling exhausted and felling like passing out.

Here is another list of less common side effects of jalyn:

  • Impotence (not getting or able to maintain erection)
  • Decreased libido (sex drive)
  • Breast enlargement or tenderness
  • Decreased amount of semen while performing sex
  • Runny nose
  • Mild dizziness.

How to Take Jalyn?

Jalyn is taken one time in a day right after having a break of 30 minutes from meal. It is important to take jalyn at the same time every day. This has to be swallowed as it is without crushing, opening or chewing. If a capsule is leaking or broken it can irritate your mouth. When you start taking jalyn, it can lower your blood pressure and cause fainting or dizziness, so be prepared. In case you have severe dizziness or fainting sensation, get immediate medical help. The symptoms will improve in about 6 months of taking jalyn. If you symptoms do not improve keep taking the medicine as per your doctor’s advice.
