Molds are fungi that live in damp and moist sections in our house. It releases toxins in the body that may result in mold allergies and sinusitis. It can even trigger asthma. It mostly affects the eyes, skin and upper respiratory tract. Its symptoms include itchy eyes, rashes on the skin, stuffy or running nose. It is better to rectify the damp and moist sources that promote the growth of mold. It is also important to detoxify the body from the toxins already released from mold infection.

How Do You Detox Your Body From Mold?

The ways beneficial to detox the body from mold are-

Activated Charcoal- it traps the toxins released due to mold illness and help the body to eliminate them. It is a natural way to detox your body from the mold. It is better to use charcoal prepared from natural sources like coconut husk or shells.

Reduction Of Sugar Intake- fungi depends on sugar for its nutrition, growth, and survival. Cutting down sugar from the diet can benefit you a lot in managing mold toxicity.

Raw Garlic- it has antifungal properties that aggressively kills fungi. Consumption of 2-4 gm of fresh garlic in a day can help to manage fungal infection.

Chlorophyll- chlorophyll found in green and leafy vegetables help to produce antioxidants in the body. It also possesses cleansing properties. Research studies reveal that chlorophyll act as a protective agent against toxic molds as it does not allow toxins to damage DNA of the cells. It also acts as an anti-bacterial and anti-fungal agent to remove the toxins from the body.

Oregano Oil- oregano or its oil is an herb that can act as a preventive mold-related illness. It should avoid children as it is too strong for them.

Neem Oil- neem is known for its antiparasitic, antibacterial and antifungal properties. Application of neem oil can help in getting rid of the mold infection on the skin.

Cinnamon- cinnamon can dry up mucus formed in the body due to mold allergy. It controls the overproduction of mucus in the body. It makes an ideal environment in the body so that mold spores cannot reproduce in the body.

Tea Tree Oil- application of tea tree oil can treat mold infection around nails or skin rashes.

Prevention Of Mold Ailments

Mold ailments can be prevented if the exposure to the molds is completely avoided. It can be done by following ways-

  • Elimination of dampness from the damp or moist areas by correcting pipe leakage, etc.
  • Good ventilation of bathrooms
  • Use of a dehumidifier that can control the levels of humidity in the house below 50%
  • Use of a centralized air conditioner that can filter the mild spores from outdoor
  • Avoidance of use of carpet in damp areas
  • Regular drainage of groundwater
  • Cleaning and drying of containers of organic plants.

Mold is a type of fungus that lives in warm, humid, and damp places. They are in form of spores that float in the air. It can grow in damp and moist areas of the house such as the basement or bathroom even in your garden where a pile of leaves is lying. It is found in food items such as fermented food, sour milk, pickles, catch ups, mushrooms, bread, etc. It grows at its peak in moist and damp season from July to October. Fungi produce toxins in the body that may result in various diseases. It affects upper respiratory tract, lungs, skin, and eyes.

Conclusion

Molds can induce mold allergies and other illness like allergic rhinitis, allergic sinusitis, and even allergic asthma. It releases certain toxins in the body that may cause illness. It is necessary to detoxify them from the body. It can be done from above herbs in the most natural way.
