Relax Yourself with a Massage Using Ylang Ylang Essential Oil

A massage is known for its ability to relax the mind and body. Ylang Ylang essential oil enhances these powers when used as a massage oil. Here is how you can make a massage oil with Ylang ylang essential oil.

Ingredients Needed:

  • Ylang Ylang essential oil – 4 drops
  • Sandalwood essential oil – 4 drops
  • Bergamot essential oil – 2 drops
  • Sweet orange essential oil – 4 drops

Carrier oil – 60 ml (2 Oz) (you can take any carrier oil as per your choice but it is better that it should include argan, olive, sweet almond, sesame or macadamia oil)

Way to Use: Pour all the oils in the bottle and shake well to combine them. Now let it sit for some days so that the different oils mix well. Check it after a few days. If it is ready to use, then pour a few drops of this mixture on your palm and rub your both hands. Now massage this combination of Ylang ylang essential oil and other oils all over your body for relaxed body and mind.

For the added advantages of other essential oils, which are well known for their aphrodisiac properties, simply dilute 3 drops of sandalwood essential oil, 3 drops of wild orange essential oil, and 5 drops of ylang-ylang essential oil in 1 teaspoon of any carrier oil. Massage this alluring mixture onto your inner thighs before going to bed.

Aromatic Bath With Ylang Ylang Essential Oil

Make your bath oil lavish with the help of ylang-ylang oil. Ylang Ylang essential oil contains therapeutic properties, which soothe your mind and make you feel more positive and energetic. Moreover, Ylang Ylang essential oil nourishes your skin while giving an amazing smell to your body. Ylang Ylang essential oil also works as a natural aphrodisiac.
Take an amber glass bottle and fill it with half-cup fractionated coconut oil. Now add 10 drops of each sweet orange oil and ylang-ylang oil into that bottle and shake well. Store it in your bathroom safely. For using it, pour 2 tablespoons of this oil into your bathtub filled with slightly warm water. Now soak your body into it and take a relaxing bath.

If you want to have a relaxing aromatic bath, which is simultaneously romantic, then take a clean glass bowl and place 10 drops each of geranium essential oil and grapefruit essential oil, 2 cups of dead sea salt, and 15 drops of ylang-ylang essential oil. Mix all the ingredients properly. Now pour this mixture into your bathtub filled with warm water. Wait for dissolving of the salt completely. Soak your body into this for around 25 to 30 minutes. This balancing and calming bath will surely make your mood amenable for affection and romance.
