  • The oil should always be diluted before it is applied. Usually, carrier oils like coconut oil and olive oil are used.
  • Other bases like unscented lotions, shampoos, aloe vera gels can also be used for dilution. In order to dilute, the chamomile oil should be used at the rate of 2 drops of the oil for every tsp of the carrier oil.
  • Make sure to protect the eyes, ears and the mucous membranes from the chamomile oil.
  • Take care to prevent ingesting the oil and keep it away from pets and children.
