There are numerous studies that show the evidence of cancer risk on the consumption of fizzy drinks.

Drinking one glass of these drinks in a day could increase the risk of prostate cancer by 40 percent. The sugar content in the sugar-sweetened beverages is responsible for this factor. (2) This can also increase the risk of breast cancer in females.
