On an average, in a day every individual releases gas from their body for minimum 12 to 21 times. Releasing gas from body is a very common and normal body process. However, it becomes serious when gas is built up in the intestine region and individual find it difficult to expel it from the body. In this condition individual often experience bloating, frequent & awful gas and abdominal pain. Gas is produced in body because of chewing gums, eating some specific food items, swallowing food items directly with water without proper chewing, smoking and off course overeating.   2. Peppermint Is also Good for Gas

    Research has revealed that intake of peppermint in any form helps in reducing various symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome such as gas or stomach bloating. It is always suggested that one should consult with their doctor before taking any supplements; this is so because these supplements can adversely affect absorption of iron and can also interfere with certain medications. Some patient also experience acidity or heartburn. Taking a cup of peppermint tea after every meal is good for curing gastric problem.

Intake of clove oil helps in getting rid from stomach bloating by facilitating the production of enzyme that aids in digestion. For instant relief one can take 6-8 drops of clove oil mixed in a glass full of water. This provides quick and instant relief from gas and gas pain.

    Have active routine i.e. doing exercise regularly helps in releasing the trapped gas in the body. This way the problem like gas pain is reduced drastically. Going for a walk after every meal or jumping ropes helps in expelling unwanted gas from the body. This is why exercise should be made a part of daily routine.
