Among the various nutrients that Avocados has, vitamin E has been proved to slow down the progression of Alzheimer Disease. Avocados should thus be incorporated in daily diet to keep the brain sharp. It also contains potassium which has proved to prevent strokes and preserve brain function. Avocados can be used with sandwiches or can be mixed with egg for daily breakfast.

Wild Salmon: It is well known that fish is extremely healthy for the brain. Wild Salmon has plenty of Omega 3 which is essential for proper functioning of the brain. Omega 3 also protects the brain cells from getting damaged due to injuries. They also reduce inflammation and facilitate production of neurotransmitters. Studies have shown that eating fish like Wild Salmon significantly reduces the risk of getting Alzheimer Disease.

Beets: Beets have a high concentration of nitrates which help in increasing blood flow to the brain and act as a brain booster.

Oats: Oats are being used worldwide as the perfect breakfast with people becoming more health conscious. Since oats are absorbed very slowly by the brain, it keeps the brain functioning at higher levels for longer period of time.

Blueberries: Blueberries are extremely nutritious and thus it is not surprising that they are of benefit for good brain health. They contain abundant antioxidants which help the brain remain sharp. It has similar ingredients to that of blueberries in that it has abundance of antioxidants which help in keeping the brain healthy and sharp. It also helps slow down the progression and even prevent disease conditions like dementia and Alzheimer Disease.
