Palm Toddy drink is mainly an alcoholic beverage which is collected from the sap of various species of palm trees such as date palms, coconut palms etc. It is also called as palm wine in South India and in Northern parts of India, it is called as Neera. In India, especially in South Indian regions such as Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Andhra Pradesh, the Palm Toddy Drink is very common. Fresh Palm toddy drink or neera is known to provide excellent health benefits when consumed fresh. The color of the Palm Toddy drink (neer) is white, and the texture of the drink is cloudy.   • Blood Clotting Factor: Excessive consumption of palm toddy can also decrease the blood clotting factors in a body, and for that, it leads to uncontrolled bleeding.
  • Weakening the Heart Muscles: Excessive consumption of palm toddy can weaken the heart muscles. It can also decrease the ability to pump blood.
