Ideally, you need to soak the almonds for about 8 to 10 hours before eating them. Having at least 5-6 soaked almonds every day can do a lot to your health.

In order to soak the almonds, you need to take few raw almonds, especially the organic almonds and place them in a large bowl and cover them with 2 cups of water per half cup of the raw almonds. Soak these almonds overnight, then drain and store them in the refrigerator in jars. These soaked almonds can remain fresh up to 7 days after soaking and with proper storage.
