Obesity increase the production of estrogen by fat cells.
  2. Refined Sugar: The increase consumption of sugar can cause inflammation and weight gain. Inflammation can affect the healthy cells and destroy them. Obese people produce more estrogen than the normal weight people. This estrogen is produced by the fat cells.
  3. High Fat, Processed Meat: Processed meat is known to be high in added hormones, especially estrogen. Red meat from mammals should be avoided.
  4. High-fat Dairy Products: Women with uterine fibroids are advised to limit the consumption of high-fat dairy products like whole milk, butter, cheese, cream. These dairy products can contain high levels of steroids, estrogen and other hormones. These can increase the growth of the uterine fibroids. Should consume organic, hormone-free products.
  5. Saturated Fats: Food that contain high amount of saturated fats raise the estrogen level, which will make the fibroid grow more. These food also affect with the liver metabolism of excess hormones and that will increase the amount of estrogen in the body. So, avoid foods like bacon, sausages, high fat processed food, pastries and junk food which are full of saturated fat.
  6. Caffeine Laden Beverages: Too much caffeine affects the normal activity of the liver metabolizing the excess hormones and excreting those hormones.
