Caution: Do not forget to take a shower after exercising as the accumulation of sweat can make body acne worse. You should also change your clothes of possible after a session of exhausting exercise.

One of the main problems with the body acne is that they are mostly covered with clothes unlike facial acne. As you move your body, the clothes rub against your body spreading the infection to a larger area. You cannot prevent it but make it less damaging by ensuring that the clothes that your wear are soft and loose as far as possible. During summer or when the temperatures are high, sweating is common. If it is summers, make sure that you wear clothes made of cotton. Cotton provides good aeration and also absorbs the sweat well, preventing it from accumulating on the skin. Preventing body acne from spreading is also an important step towards treating body acne.

Regular showers are extremely helpful if you want to get rid of body acne from your body. Water helps in cleaning the surface of your skin from the harmful bacteria, dirt particles and excess oil. Shower also helps you shed off the layer of dead cells from the skin surface that can block skin pores. All these elements can combine together to cause body acne. Showering at the end of the day when your return from work and after exercise is absolutely necessary to clear off the sweat from your body. Sweat can also trigger body acne.

Healthy Diet Can Help Get Rid of Body Acne

Body acne is a skin problem that can be treated by taking a healthy diet. You need to avoid processed food or foods that have high sugar as they can increase the level of toxins in your body and skin. Instead, try to include fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains and other healthy food items that can make your skin with essential nutrients. It is one of the best ways to treat and prevent reoccurrence of body acne. Drink plenty of water to keep your skin well hydrated and maintain a good flow of nutrients and wastes, in and out of the cells.
