You must wash your face with warm water before applying any mask, to open the skin pores and make the mask more effective on the application. All the dirt and grime should be washed away for effective results.

  • It is best if you have your hair tied back with a band so that the mixture does not get applied on the hair strands that fall over your face.
  • Egg mixture drips. So you can prevent these drips from spoiling your clothes, by draping a towel over your clothes. You can also lie down or sit back on a chair with your head tilted back so that it does not drip down on you.
  • Using egg in the mask will leave a bad smell, once you wash it away. After you wash your mask away, you can dab your skin liberally with rose water.
  • While applying the face mask, you can use your fingers or you can use cotton or a cosmetic brush to make an even spread.
  • The eyes and lips are very sensitive areas. Avoid applying any facial mixture in these areas.
  • Egg masks should always be removed with cool water and not with warm water.
  • If your skin feels dry after the egg mask, you can apply some moisturizer on it, to retain a healthy glow.
  • If you are adding oil to the mixture, you should not use moisturizer after cleaning your face, as extra oil content may cause breakouts.
