    You will require small towel and an ice pack for doing this. Simply put an ice pack in a towel and press it on the inflamed or affected area for 15 to 20 minutes. You can find some relief. You can also use cold water instead of an ice pack.

    Baking soda is one more effective home remedy for petechiae. It has skin lightening properties which helps fade away the red dots or petechiae with the passage of time.
    You would require 5 tablespoons of soda, coconut oil to make a thick paste together and then apply the past on your petechiae or the affected skin and keep it for about 10 minutes before rubbing off the paste using a damp towel. Make a note to use this remedy for a week for getting best results.

  3. Apple Cider Vinegar As A Home Remedy For Petechiae:

    Raw Apple cider vinegar or ACV is an excellent home remedy to calm down the itching on red spots in petechiae and treats skin rashes too. Moreover, it has acetic acid, which fights skin infections.

    You will require to soak a cotton ball in apple cider vinegar and put it on the affected area of your skin. After a few minutes, you need to remove the cotton ball. Make sure you repeat this remedy several times till you see the results showing up. Keep a note that in case apple cider vinegar by any chance irritates your skin, then dilute ACV with water; so that it does not irritate your skin anymore.

  4. Olive Oil:

    There is one more wonderful home remedy for Petechiae and that is Extra virgin olive oil. This is actually a good skin moisturizer which enhances skin healing (as it is loaded with vitamin E and antioxidants). Extra virgin olive oil also soothes the skin and reduces the itching.

    For making this home remedy to get rid of petechiae you will require olive oil or extra virgin olive oil, honey and turmeric powder. Just, rub extra virgin olive oil or a combo of honey and olive oil in equal parts on the affected area of the skin, few times on a daily basis to notice the healing.

    Kindly note; that apart from olive oil, you can also make use of castor oil and coconut oil to heal petechiae. Alternatively you can also combine vitamin E oil and cod liver oil for treating petechiae.

  5. Lemon Juice For Petechiae:

    Lemon juice could be another home remedy for getting rid of petechiae fast. Lemon juice contains a lot of vitamin C and helps in building collagen and lightens up the skin. This is thus considered as a natural bleach.

    For this remedy you would require lemon juice, raw milk and honey. You just need to mix 1 tablespoons of lemon juice, 2 teaspoons of honey with 2 tablespoon of raw milk in a jar and the apply the liquid-cum-paste on the red spots or petechiae. Doing this once in a week for at least two weeks would get you the expected results.

  6. Witch Hazel:

    Fresh bark of witch hazel can be used as a home remedy for petechiae. This acts as an astringent that gets relief from itchy skin rash and serious skin conditions like eczema. It is also an antioxidant which can treat sunburns.

    Simply simmer 1 ounce of the witch hazel bark with 1 pint of water and leave it to rest for 10 minutes. Once you strain and cool, apply it with a clean cloth or towel on the affected area of the skin and leave it for at least 30 minutes for best results to show up. Keep a note that for getting the best results you need to use fresh witch hazel bark.

  7. Chamomile Tea For Petechiae:

    Chamomile is a good remedy to cool irritated skin and enhance the healing process of petechiae. This is because, it has wonderful antibacterial and antifungal properties.

    For using this remedy you will require chamomile tea, and a piece of cloth. Simply soak a cloth in chamomile tea and place it on the affected area as a compress. After about 10-15 minutes, take it off. Doing this two to three times in a day for about two days would show up fine result. You can also dilute chamomile essential oil drops with 2 teaspoon of another carrier oil or coconut oil, if required.

  8. Aloe Vera:

    Another effective home remedy to get rid of petechiae fast is Aloe vera. This remedy heals skin ailments pretty fast because of its antibacterial properties and because of the presence of elements which aid in getting rid of red marks from the skin.

    You would require some leaves of aloe vera and some hot water. Simply take off some leaves of aloe vera plant and boil them in water and then make use of the juice extract of aloe vera and apply it on the red spots in petechiae.     You simply need to apply coconut oil on your skin rashes and red dots or petechiae with your fingertips during day time and at night before you are off to sleep.

  11. Calendula Oil:

    Calendula is a good herb that is known for soothing skin irritations, dry skin, eczema, bruises or wounds because of its anti-inflammatory nature and because of the astringent properties.

    You simply need to apply Calendula oil on the affected area of the skin and leave it for few hours. Just keep doing this two times in a day until your petechiae heals completely. You can also use Calendula essential oil or Calendula cream/ointment or lotion few times in a day till the rash disappears.

  12. Basil Leaves:

    Basil or Tulsi leaves are known to be very beneficial for skin infections. These leaves have wonderful anti-irritant properties which removes red rashes on skin and face.

    You will require couple of basil leaves, pepper, salt, olive oil, crushed cloves etc. simply grind a few basil leaves in a pot and add salt, pepper, olive oil and crushed cloves to it and put the treated basil leaves on your affected skin to get enough relief.

  13. Cinnamon:

    Cinnamon has soothing and antiseptic properties that aids bring you relief from skin irritations.

    You would require 2 tablespoons of cinnamon powder, 3 table spoons of honey. Simply mix cinnamon powder and honey in a bowl and make it a paste to apply on the irritated or affected skin. Then, wash it off after 5 minutes and pat your skin dry to see the difference.

  14. Coriander Leaves:

    Coriander is a well known Ayurvedic remedy known to fight skin rashes and itchy skin. Apart from this, it also has a calming and inviting scent.

    You will require sufficient amount of coriander leaves which are to be ground without water and then applied on the affected area of the skin. This is to be left off for about 30 minutes before washing it off. Repeating this twice in a day for about 2-3 days would get you effective results.

    You can also boil 1 teaspoon of coriander seeds in a cup of water and make a tea out of it and drink it for getting rid of petechiae and other skin problems fast.

  15. Using Banana Peels to Help Get Rid of Petechiae:

    Banana peels contains lutein or a compound that is known to treat several skin related problems. Simply take the banana peel, rub it over the affected area in circular motions for about 15 minutes. Then after, wash the area with regular water.

  16. Egg Whites As Home Remedy For Petechiae:

    Egg whites are also useful in getting rid of petechiae or other red spots of face (except acne).

    Simply separate the egg whites from the yolk and then with the use of a clean q-tip, dip the q-tip in the egg whites and apply it to the affected area on the skin and leave the solution for about 15 minutes before washing it off with cold water.

  17. Sugar Scrub:

    Homemade sugar scrub can act as an exfoliator and the process of exfoliation removes the spots or petechiae on the face.

    Simply mix a half cup of sugar, two tablespoons of raw milk and two tablespoons of honey all together for about 5 minutes. Then rub this solution all over your face and wash it off using cold water. You would find with each 5 minute session, the spots fade away eventually.

  18. Tomato Juice:

    Tomato juice also has wonderful ability to remove spots from skin. You can use this as a home remedy to get rid of petechiae.

    Simply take a tomato and cut it in half, remove the pulp from it and apply on the face or over the affected area of the skin. Leave it on for about 20 minutes and then wash it off to find effective results.

  19. Potato:

    One more easy and simple home remedy to get rid of petechiae fast is by rubbing the potato on the affected area of the skin. Simply cut the potato in to half and rub on the petechiae for 15 minutes and then wash it off completely.

  20. Sandalwood Powder:

    Sandalwood powder can also be a useful home remedy for petechiae. Take a piece of sandalwood and grind it well on sandstone. Mix some rose water to the powder and create the paste. Now, apply the sandalwood paste on to the affected portion of your skin and leave it until it dries off completely. Then after, you can rinse off your face with clean water to see the result.

  21. Margosa Leaves:

    First boil a handful of Margosa leaves in water and then let it cool down for a while. Now, take a cotton ball, dip it in to the solution and then apply it on the affected area. Leave this solution on the skin for at least 15 minutes and then rinse it off.
