Eat Frequently:

The first thing that you need to do, while talking about the home remedies for lactose intolerance attack is to eat more number of meals; rather than eating a large portion in a single go. This is because; the body takes quite a lot of time to digest the lactose. If you supply small portions of lactose to the digestive system, it will digest it better. Eating fewer meals with large quantities is going to disturb your system more.

Ginger as a Home Remedy for Lactose Intolerance Attacks:

One of the most effective home remedy is the one using ginger. Ginger, rather dried ginger, is exceptionally helpful in reducing the pain and other symptoms cause by the lactose intolerance attack. For this, you need to dry ginger and then grind it. Mix some of this ground ginger with water and make tea with it. Drink 3 cups of this ginger tea every day and you will experience significant relief from the pain in stomach and belly, caused by lactose intolerance.

Apple Cider Vinegar:

Apple cider vinegar is very effective in reducing the pain and other symptoms of lactose intolerance. You need to mix a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar with a glass of water and drink it twice a day or you can also mix a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar with a cup of water and add 1/4th teaspoon of baking soda to this and drink this concoction every morning. This will reduce the pain significantly and help in the digestion process of the lactose, as the acid in the vinegar will neutralize the indigestion.

Chamomile as a Home Remedy for Lactose Intolerance Attack:

One of the wonder ingredients of nature that has various advantages for your body in various disorders and diseases is chamomile. Even to reduce the pain and other symptoms of lactose intolerance attack, chamomile is very helpful. You need to brew some chamomile flowers in water and make tea out of it. Drink this and it will help in digesting the lactose.

Saffron for Lactose Intolerance:

Saffron helps in eliminating the bloating feeling and gas that is caused by lactose intolerance attack. For that you need to mix a little pinch of saffron strands with very little warm milk and drink this every day. Here it must be mentioned that such a little amount of milk will not worsen your condition. In fact, it does not cause any change or difference as the body can digest 12gm of lactose every day.

However, there is another way that is equally effective and that is saffron tea. You have to put a pinch of saffron in a cup of water and boil it for 20 minutes to make tea. Drink this tea for three times a day, dividing it in three portions.

Rice Tea:

Just like saffron tea, rice tea is also very useful in reducing the pain and stomach ache caused by lactose intolerance. For that you need to boil half cup of rice in hot water for 15 minutes and then after stirring the rice, you have to strain it. The solution needs to be consumed twice a day for good results.

Lemon Juice:

Another very useful home remedy for lactose intolerance attack is lemon juice. You need to add juice of one lemon in a cup of hot water and add a little honey to increase the taste and drink this concoction before every meal, to reduce the stomach ache and other discomforts caused by the lactose intolerance attack.

Peppermint Tea:

To get rid of the pain, stomach ache, digestive problems and other discomforts caused by lactose intolerance attack, you can use peppermint tea as a home remedy. Wash and clean a few peppermints leaves and then boil it in water. Strain this and drink the tea with a little honey for a better taste. This will soothe your digestive system and reduce your discomforts.

Cocoa Powder:

Many people do not know that cocoa powder has a great ability to help digest lactose. If you combine cocoa with sugar and have it, it will help you to digest the lactose that you have consumed.

Fennel Seed Tea as a Home Remedy for Lactose Intolerance Attack:

Like most other whole spices that have their own benefits, fennel seed too has very beneficial digestive properties that can not only help you to digest food, but also help you to reduce the lactose intolerance attack symptoms. You can boil a few fennel seeds in water and strain and drink the tea to get its benefits.

Along with these simple and easy home remedies, you must also try to improve your condition by trying to increase your tolerance for lactose. For that you must have about a tablespoon of yoghurt after every meal, so that your body can try to tolerate at least a little amount of lactose. Since a tablespoon of yoghurt does not contain more than 12gm of lactose, it will not cause any harm or disturbance to your digestive system. Rather, the good bacteria in the yoghurt will help your guts to grow the bacteria that help in digesting lactose.

Also, trying to have some dairy products, even if in small portions is very important to compensate for the lack of calcium that is caused by not having any dairy product at all. If your lactose intolerance is irreversible, you need to take calcium supplements. Also, you should substitute your dairy milks with soy milk, coconut milk or almond milk to avoid the lactose intolerance attacks.
