You can mix some sugar with a teaspoon of honey and apply the paste on the lips. Gently rub the paste through both the lips so as to get rid of the dead cells. Let the paste remain in there for a minute and wash the lips with warm water.

  2. Honey

    Honey is yet another effective Home Remedy for Dry Lips. Honey is natural moisturizer and is best to treat dry lips. It also protects any infection in the lips due to its antibacteria properties. All you need to do is apply some honey on the lips three to four times a day. Let it be there for a minute and then wash it off.

  3. Rose Petals

    These are also quite an effective Home Remedy for Dry Lips. All you need to do is take some rose petals and wash them in water and soak them in milk or glycerine for a couple of hours. Grind it and make a thick paste of it and apply it directly on the lips every night just before going to bed. This not only protects the lips from getting dry but also restores the lost shine and gloss of the lips and hence is a very good home remedy to get rid of dry lips.

  4. Coconut Oil

    Coconut Oil is a natural moisturizer and hence is quite an effective home remedy for dry lips, especially in the cold weather conditions. All you need to do is apply coconut oil directly on the lips everyday so as to keep them moist.

  5. Castor Oil

    This is yet another effective home remedy for dry lips. Applying Castor Oil on the lips at least three to four times a day is extremely effective in getting rid of dry lips. You can also mix a few drops of lemon juice and apply it on the lips before going to bed and let it be there overnight and then wash if off in the morning in lukewarm water

  6. Milk Cream

    Milk cream is a natural moisturizer and is very good home remedy for dry lips. It can be applied directly on the lips for a few minutes and then gently washing it off with warm water. This is extremely beneficial for people who have extremely dry lips.

  7. Aloe Vera Gel

    Aloe Vera is a natural herb which is beneficial for many ailments in the body and is also a very effective home remedy for dry lips. Aloe Vera gel can be applied directly on the lips. It may not be good in taste but its properties are extremely effective in treating dry lips.

  8. Cucumber

    This is also a very easy and effective home remedy for dry lips. You can apply either a cucumber or cucumber juice on the lips which will make them soft and supple. This is perhaps the best home remedy for dry lips.

  9. Petroleum Jelly

    This is yet another natural remedy for dry lips. All you need to do is buy some petroleum jelly like Vaseline gel from the market and apply it on the lips for a few days. This will make the lips normal again.

  10. Water

    Water is extremely important in order to hydrate the body and keep the lips from getting dry. Drink plenty of water so as to eliminate the toxins from the skin and make the lips more soft and supple naturally.
