It is represented by symptoms like redness, swelling, itching, and many more. Its exact cause is not known. Some of the risk factors are light-colored eyes, frequent blushing, exposure to sun rays, etc. It tends to relapse. But routine eye care is maintained, and then its flare-ups can be prevented. Ocular rosacea can be managed effectively if a good eye-care routine is maintained. The persistent following up of this routine can keep away frequent flare-ups. It can be done by following home remedies-

Cleaning Of Eyelids And Eyes Twice A Day- It can be done by moving a cotton swab dipped in warm water across the eyelid to remove any debris or oil from the eye area.(3)

Application Of Warm Compression- a washcloth soaked in hot water can be used as warm compression to be over closed eyes for 5 to 10 minutes. It can ensure the loosening of the blocked glands in the eyes.(3)

Use Artificial Tears- These can help relieve the dryness in your eyes. Artificial tears are often prescribed by eye doctors as it can help alleviate the dryness in the eyes. It is not the absolute treatment of ocular rosacea as it may provide temporary relief of symptoms for some time.(3)
