Gas Pain is something that is common and every once in a while all of us have this kind of pain. There are also some people for whom Gas Pain is a chronic issue and they suffer from it on a daily basis. Gas Pain occurs when there is abundant gas formation in the stomach and is not able to be released by the body in the process of digestion and gets trapped within the body. The main causes for Gas Pains are food rich in soluble fiber, fruits like apples and pears, chewing gum in excess, carbonated beverages like Pepsi or Coca-Cola. Some of the common Home Remedies to treat Gas Pains are:

Warm Water: This is a useful home remedy for gas pain which can be easily accessed and is really quick in treating gas pain. Gulping a glass of warm water is extremely effective in treating Gas Pains. It should be noted here that the warm water needs to be taken in one gulp if possible to get rid of Gas Pains.

Peppermint Tea: This is yet another effective home remedy for treating gas pain. Preparing Peppermint tea is quite simple and easy to make. All you need to do is to take a cup of warm water and add a peppermint tea bag in it and let it stay there for a couple of minutes till all the ingredients of the tea bag are dissolved in the water. Drink this tea and it will provide immediate relief from gas pain.

Chamomile Tea: This is also quite an effective Home Remedy to treat Gas Pains. Chamomile has properties in it, which is quite effective in treating many ailments and Gas Pain is no exception. Just add a chamomile tea bag to a cup of warm water and allow is to sit there for a few minutes so that all the ingredients of the tea bag are dissolved in the water and then drink the tea. Do this for a couple of times a day and you will notice significant relief from the Gas Pain.

Yogurt: This is yet another remedy to treat gas pain naturally at home. Yogurt can be taken by itself or mixed with white rice and eaten. You can add some coriander leaves for taste. Yogurt has good bacteria in it which is quite effective in treating gas pain. Try and take yogurt a couple of times a day for a few days and you will get rid of gas pain.

Ginger Tea: Take a few slices of ginger and add them to boiling water. Use a normal tea bag and mix it in the solution. Add sugar to taste and then drink the tea. Drinking this tea a couple of times a day will help in getting rid of gas pain naturally at home.

Lemon Juice: Drink a glass of lemon juice two to three times a day to get relief from gas pain naturally. Lemon contains citric acid, which helps in breaking down gas which has been accumulated and gets it eliminated from the body.

Papaya: Papaya aids in digestion and prevents formation of gas in the stomach making it an effective home remedy for gas pain. It is recommended to eat papaya daily in order to not only treat gas pain, but also to prevent it from occurring again.

Lemon Honey Mixture: Another useful home remedy for gas pain is a solution of lemon juice and honey. All you need to do is take a glass of lemon juice and add a teaspoon of honey to it and then drink the solution. This needs to be done every couple of hours for best results in getting rid of gas pain.
